Dr. Brianne Cantafio

I graduated in 2015 from the University of Saskatchewan's Western College of Veterinary Medicine. I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. The best job I ever had was working at the Assiniboine Park Zoo, and I would have to say this was a huge inspiration for me in becoming a vet. I have lived and worked in all of the Western provinces. The area of veterinary medicine that interests me the most is pathology- during vet school, I worked at Prairie Diagnostic Services, a diagnostics laboratory where I learned about my interest in gross pathology.

I love working on Vancouver Island, and especially love working with my amazing coworkers and friends. I enjoy working beside several other vets- I feel we provide amazing medicine to our community! A fun fact about myself- I can read, write and speak Italian.
